Connect Search is partnering with a leading publicly traded manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Accountant
. This role will be an integral member of the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations team, supporting monthly close, consolidations, technical accounting activities, hedging analysis, and A/R securitization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with public accounting, technical accounting, or manufacturing experience who wants to join a large, global organization and gain significant exposure to corporate accounting and executive leadership.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with flexibility
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Responsibilities- Support the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations team with monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation activities
- Prepare and record journal entries related to A/R securitization, cloud computing software, and hedge accounting
- Partner with Treasury to record monthly journal entries associated with qualified and non-qualified hedging activities
- Manage the monthly roll forward and related accounting entries for the company’s A/R securitization program
- Prepare and present quarterly hedging analysis used for external financial reporting
- Support global intercompany accounting and identify and resolve out-of-balance items
- Prepare and review balance sheet accounts as part of the monthly corporate close and consolidation process
- Consolidate and validate financial data from business units while investigating discrepancies and irregularities
- Provide accounting guidance to business units regarding accounting policies and their financial implications
- Provide backup support for final One Stream consolidations
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested financial data and documentation
- Partner with Corporate Accounting leadership to improve accounting, reconciliation, and month-end close processes
- Perform accounting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA required
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with consolidations, technical accounting, or complex accounting transactions preferred
- Experience with Oracle and/or One Stream is a plus
