Senior Accountant
Location:
Milwaukee, WIJob Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for assigned parking locations. This role ensures financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures, client agreements, leases, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).The Senior Accountant manages key accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, client reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales and use tax reporting.
This position also works closely with Operations and regional General Managers to understand financial performance, analyze variances, prepare annual budgets, and address financial issues.
This role is an important partner to both Accounting and Operations and is expected to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and create greater efficiency and consistency as the company continues to grow.

What You’ll DoManage accounting activities for assigned parking locations.
Complete month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial statements and client reporting.
Partner with Operations on budgets, financial performance, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with contracts, leases, GAAP, and company procedures.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client distributions.
Prepare sales and use tax reporting and support audits.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
Strong technical and systems aptitude, including the ability to learn new financial and business applications quickly, troubleshoot issues, and effectively integrate technology into accounting processes.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communicator who can partner across Accounting and Operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
