Mailroom Scanner | Document Imaging Associate
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Location: Onsite, Milwaukee, WI 53207
Schedule: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM CST, Monday through Saturday, with one weekday off
Start Date: Tuesday, February 17
Overtime: Available
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Temporary-to-Hire depending on skills and abilities
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Scanner / Document Imaging Associates to support high-volume mail processing and document scanning operations
. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced production environments and take pride in accuracy, consistency, and meeting daily production standards.
You will play a critical role in ensuring incoming mail and documents are processed, scanned, and quality-checked in compliance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, sort, and process trays of incoming mail, weighing up to 10 lbs. each
- Sort, load, and scan documents using an OPEX mail extractor machine
- Open envelopes and scan contents according to defined procedures and rulesets
- Monitor workload levels to maintain steady production flow and throughput
- Perform quality assurance checks on scanned documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and production protocols
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Proven ability to process high volumes of work while meeting or exceeding production standards
- Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and punctuality
- Basic computer skills and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience using OPEX mail extractor machines
- 1-2 years of experience in a mailroom, scanning, production, or document processing environment
- Consistent early-morning schedule with afternoons free
- Overtime opportunities available
- Stable onsite role with clear processes and expectations
- Entry-level friendly with training provided
