Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the Office Support Assistant 2 provides office support to the Aging and Disability Resource Center to ensure efficient office operation of the department. This position is responsible for front desk coverage, maintaining copier and equipment areas, fax distribution, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties- Provide front desk coverage to include breaks, vacations days, sick time, and time away for meetings. Process WisGO transactions as needed.
- Organize and restock mailroom, front desk, and lobby areas
- Sort and distribute all incoming faxes and mail
- Monitor inbox to complete Preadmission Screen & Resident Review (PASRR).
- Monitor inbox to complete Critical Incidents process.
- Create pre-formatted monthly newsletter for Office for People with Disabilities
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
- Current resident of the state of Wisconsin
- Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least one (1) year of experience working in an office is required.
- Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets is required.
- Intermediate knowledge of fax machines, scanners, and printers.
- Previous experience working with the aging and disability community a plus.
Knowledge of office practices, principles, methods, and procedures; knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation; knowledge of the use of a personal computer; written and oral communication skills; organizational skills; proficiency in word processing and data entry; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain records, files, and store items systematically; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs as needed.
