Overview
Summary Under the direction of the Director of the Learner Network and in close collaboration with Coordinator and Manager colleagues, perform routine and advanced administrative duties for the KNN Learner Network area requiring considerable skill and in‑depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Anticipate and initiate action regarding administrative functions while coordinating and leading projects.
- Compose correspondence as needed, amplifying existing correspondence for certain audiences and managing follow up.
- Use complex functions of a variety of computer applications (xls and internal customer relationship management system).
- Respond to email inquiries as assigned on behalf of the area.
- Coordinate schedules for complex internal and external meetings, appointments; support travel and related arrangements.
- Participate and play an administrative role in meetings and events with program participants.
- Conduct research, compile data and information from multiple sources to prepare reports.
- Assist in the monitoring of program expenses and compilation of financial information as requested.
- Liaison with finance and grants operations areas on payment requests, requisitions, and invoices.
- Takes a relational and collaborative approach to program administration.
- Organize filing systems accurately maintaining records.
Minimum Required
Education:
High school diploma
Minimum
Required Experience:
5 years of experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
Physical RequirementsWork requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Work EnvironmentOccasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory AcuityAbility to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
