Parking Communications Assistant

Our client, a municipal services organization, is seeking a Parking Communications Assistant to join their team. As a Parking Communications Assistant, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Parking Enforcement team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Parking Communications Assistant

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 4pm-midnight

What's the Job?

• Answer incoming calls from staff, the public, MPD, and tow contractors
• Dispatch Parking Enforcement Officers to various locations within the city
• Accurately enter information into a web-based system while on the phone
• Communicate effectively over a 2-way radio with team members
• Work collaboratively within a small team in an office environment

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to work during the specified evening shift
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with web-based programs and technology
• Knowledge of city streets and geography is a plus
