We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in collaborative, Agile environments and enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project partners. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and skilled at translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Business Analyst Contractor – Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI

End Client – Financial Services Industry

Duration: ASAP – End of 2026 with year over year extension possible.

This role is not open to C2C, subcontractors, or third‑party agencies

Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements through interviews, workflow analysis, workshops, and surveys.
• Document business process descriptions, business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to define technical vision and evaluate usability vs. performance tradeoffs.
• Analyze potential solutions against business needs and financial impact to recommend the best-fit approach.
• Engage internal and external client communities throughout all project lifecycle stages, from requirements to implementation.
• Lead and facilitate business requirements and data analysis/modeling sessions.
• Support QA through collaboration with quality assurance teams and validation activities.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing across client teams and third‑party partners.
• Work with business units to define milestones, requirements, and solution approaches.
• Lead small‑scale projects by managing scope and ensuring needed capabilities are in place.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Demonstrated success working in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to write clear business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence and lead without authority.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and continuous improvement mentality.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with web applications, client‑facing websites, or partnering with UI/UX teams.

Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00. This range is subject to change based on job‑related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full‑time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
