Responsibilities

As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a high‑performance culture, develop and motivate your team, demonstrate how to earn customer trust with know‑how and empathy, and support community service projects.

  • Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training
  • Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team
  • Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands‑on management
  • Lead training meetings
  • Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride‑A‑Long program
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed course of action, and outstanding empathetic customer service every time
  • Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services, and technology
  • Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity

Qualifications
  • Sales experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with great clients
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations. Requirements include:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing/balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator
  • Willingness to work in different weather conditions
