ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Manager, you’ll lead a high‑performance culture, develop and motivate your team, demonstrate how to earn customer trust with know‑how and empathy, and support community service projects.
- Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training
- Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
- Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team
- Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands‑on management
- Lead training meetings
- Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride‑A‑Long program
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed course of action, and outstanding empathetic customer service every time
- Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services, and technology
- Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity
- Company vehicle with gas card provided
- Starting salary range of $60,000–$70,000 USD with bonus opportunity after training is completed

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with great clients
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations. Requirements include:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing/balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator
- Willingness to work in different weather conditions
