Designs, implements, and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability. Develops negotiation strategies to create a win‑win relationship between the company and suppliers. Assists in identifying new, high‑potential suppliers. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Builds stable working relationships internally. Works on issues of limited scope.
Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Receives predetermined assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Skills:
Typically requires no previous professional experience. Learning to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
