What you will accomplish as a Bid Specialist at TAPCO
  • Conduct thorough research to identify relevant bid opportunities across various platforms, portals, and networks in designated regional territories.
  • Monitor and maintain an updated pipeline of upcoming and ongoing tenders and RFPs.
  • Analyze tender requirements and assess their alignment with the company’s services, capabilities, and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for bid preparation and submission.
  • Provide accurate quotes to customers on bid opportunities.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, procurement processes, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
  • Maintain organized records of bid opportunities, deadlines, and submission statuses in the company CRM.
  • Recommend bid/no‑bid decisions based on feasibility, profitability, and resource availability.
  • Support the proposal development team and ensure all identified bids are communicated effectively and within established timelines.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bid search, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and tendering processes across various industries.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using bid search platforms and software tools (e.g., [specific platforms/tools, if applicable]).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with government and corporate procurement regulations.
  • Experience in preparing or contributing to bid proposals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
