This role supports communication, collaboration, strategy execution, and special projects across the assigned Business Unit, enabling the Therapeutic Area Lead (TAL) to meet business objectives and manage day‑to‑day operations.
Serves as a program manager for various operations initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to drive business strategy. Responsibilities include both directed priorities from the Business Unit Head and self‑directed leadership tasks informed by the Business Unit leadership team.
What You Will Do- Organize goal planning and quarterly business reviews for operational results, presenting analytics relevant to the review.
- Build agendas for leadership meetings based on insights and inputs from others, driving accountability for action items across all governance meetings.
- Onboard team members and manage the majority of first‑30/60/90‑day dialogue based on the TAL’s vision of expectations.
- Maintain visibility of the TAL’s high‑level vision while operating at the ground level.
- Attend meetings and calls on behalf of the TAL and/or other operational leaders and act on their behalf when necessary.
- Prepare communications on behalf of the TAL to share with leaders and stakeholders, clearly articulating business needs efficiently.
- Triage escalations, driving cross‑functional conversations to resolve complex issues that become business blockers and ensuring fast turnaround for specific prospects.
- Guide business direction by gathering data, industry benchmarks, and stakeholder feedback to inform decisions.
- Lead budget and vendor management for BU meetings, including hotel contract negotiation, logistics, and coordination of the following meetings/events:
- Quarterly review meetings — virtual and in person.
- BDMs/client meetings for our internal team, working closely with hotels and venues if required.
- Bi‑annual Department Head Meetings.
- Other ad hoc meetings, as requested.
- Collaborate with management team members to compile and provide feedback on weekly management team calls.

- 5+ years of work experience in a management support role and/or within a clinical research environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong project management background and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
Salary range for this position (annual):
United States – $52,500.00 – $. Compensation is determined based on experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws.
