Meeting & Events Manager (Large-Scale Conferences)
Greater Milwaukee - Hybrid | Travel ~6 weeks/year | $75–80K + bonus eligibility + benefits

LHH is partnering with a highly respected organization to find a full-time Meeting & Events professional who thrives in complex, high-visibility environments and knows how to bring large-scale events to life. This role will take the lead on planning and executing a flagship annual conference while also supporting additional programs throughout the year.
Qualified candidates will bring:- 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale conferences or association events (ideally in non-profit, association, or education sectors)
- Strong expertise across event logistics (AV, catering, transportation, security, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously
- Skilled in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Calm, solution-oriented approach in fast–paced or high–pressure situations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute complex events flawlessly
- Experience with project management tools (Click Up or similar) is a plus
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a large, multi-day annual event
- Partner closely with internal teams to align event logistics with program goals
- Manage venue relationships, room layouts, and on-site execution
- Oversee audiovisual, internet, and production needs from planning through delivery
- Build and manage vendor partnerships (venues, hotels, AV, security, etc.)
- Drive project timelines, logistics, and execution across multiple work streams
- Support event marketing logistics in collaboration with communications teams
- Contribute to security planning and ensure a seamless, safe attendee experience
