In the Facilities Consultant position, you'll deliver a consultative facilities and capital advisory offering to senior living owners and operators. You'll partner with customers to assess maintenance operations, building services strategy, staffing models, risk areas, capital planning and execution, and financial performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll translate operational insights into practical, high-impact recommendations that drive measurable value, improve performance, and support long‑term success.

What You'll Do and Impact

Build and maintain strong relationships with facility, regional, corporate, and ownership stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on facilities and capital strategy.

Assess customer maintenance operations, building services strategy, staffing models, and risk areas to identify improvement opportunities.

Deliver clear, actionable recommendations that translate operational insights into ROI, risk reduction, and measurable performance outcomes.

Lead customer discussions, workshops, and presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and action plans.

Partner with Sales, Operations, and Field Services teams to identify and support customers who would benefit from consulting engagements.

Translate consulting insights into opportunities across TELS Platform, TELS Building Services, capital projects, and broader Direct Supply solutions.

Develop and refine a scalable facilities and capital consulting offering, including tools, frameworks, and deliverables.

Capture and share market insights, customer challenges, and industry trends to inform product, service, and operational strategy.

Serve as a subject matter expert in facilities and capital, supporting both customers and internal stakeholders.

Experience

10+ years of experience in building services, facilities management, or mechanical trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting).

Demonstrated experience driving facilities and capital outcomes for senior living owners and operators.

Experience leading facilities and capital teams within senior living environments, including both direct and matrixed leadership structures.

Experience leveraging TELS to drive facilities and capital performance outcomes.

Proven experience assessing operations and delivering actionable recommendations that drive measurable value.

Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing senior‑level stakeholders across facility, regional, and corporate levels.

Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, and service provider networks to deliver customer outcomes.

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical solutions that drive customer value.

Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 40%.

Valid, unexpired driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
