Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain expertise in the Imaging System (Perceptive Content) to manage and process documents efficiently. Maintain a strong working knowledge of the software, routing, and processing rules, write imaging system queries, troubleshoot imaging issues, and provide training on federal regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary resource for imaging system support.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in Docu Sign, including building and updating forms, managing conflicts between Docu Sign, the Imaging System, People Soft, and ensuring compliance. Work closely with FA Counseling staff on related projects.
- Supervise Federal Work Study student employees, handling hiring, training, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Manage the transfer student monitoring process with the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). Import/export data through COD, ED Connect, NSLDS, and ELM, troubleshoot errors, and maintain interfaces with Graduate School and third‑party payments. Ensure compliance and accuracy with financial aid regulations and process PLUS loans in partnership with FA Counseling staff.
- Oversee outgoing communication processes for routine and ad‑hoc mailings, manage mailing of Missing Information Letters, returned mail, and other correspondence. Coordinate default avoidance efforts by processing delinquent and default loan notices and skip‑tracing requests from lenders.
Skills and Abilities
- Associate’s degree, preferably in business or technology.
- Three years of related work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong working knowledge of document imaging systems.
- Ability to interact calmly and graciously with students, parents, and staff under difficult interpersonal situations.
- Ability to quickly acquire advanced knowledge of policies, processes, and procedures related to financial aid regulations.
- Ability to adapt and suggest improvements to technology solutions.
- Ability to stay informed about financial aid regulations.
- Experience with detailed projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Working knowledge of Docu Sign.
