Pricing Specialist, Services

Brady Corp is seeking a Pricing Specialist who will support Product and Project Management with project proposal creation, pricing analysis, insight and implementation for the Safety Services team s position will be instrumental in setting up successful projects by creating the scope of work and pricing for service projects that will ultimately be executed by the Safety Services operations team. This position will also work closely with Brady customers, Safety Services operations, and sales team members when project scoping calls are needed prior to project proposal creation.

• Safety Services proposal creation, which will often require identifying key operational details while working with the Brady Sales organization and customers.
• Establish a good working relationship with Sales Territory Managers, Channel Partners, Operations, Product Management, Project Management, Finance and IT teams.
• Contribute to managing a shared email box, which may require answering questions for sales and customers, as well as updating existing or expired proposals.
• Support cross functional pricing initiatives, including influencing the Discounts, and Enterprise-level Quotes.
• Support Brady’s Strategic Account Managers by creating enterprise level pricing agreements which may vary by number of sites and service offering.
• Maintain up to date Brady list prices.
• Enforce price increases when enacted by Services team, while maintaining an understanding of and collaborating with operations and product management for existing quotes and impacts of price increases.
• Report on pricing/margin performance by product line as determined by product and industry marketing.
• Maintain competitor product matching lists.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, finance, or related field
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret data, manipulate complex pricing formulas and build basic Excel models.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word,  and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to achieve consistent professional email and chat responsiveness with a reliable turnaround time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex data and insights to a diverse audience either verbally or via written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and willingness to assist teammates in reaching overall objectives.
• Ability to keep a calm and effective demeanor while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work without close supervision.
