Value Starts Here Key Responsibilities The Category Manager has  cradle

to grave  product responsibility working in a team environment. Primary

product group responsibility is industrial Motors and Power Transmission

products such as speed reducers, belts and pulleys, couplings,

actuators, etc. The Category Manager acts as a leader, with other

Product Managers in adjacent product categories. Requirements:
Develop

current and New Product lines, including filling offering Gaps and

selecting appropriate supplier partners. Responsibilities include

determining new product requirements, branding, vendor selection,

negotiating supply agreements, developing marketing material for catalog

and web, establishing product pricing, determining initial sales

forecast, assisting with a product promotion plan, and product training

for internal teams. Provide analysis of market/customer needs, the

competition, and market segment trends to identify opportunities for new

and existing products. Presentation of new product opportunities

including thorough understanding of available market, pricing, our

expected market share, and our overall cost of doing business. Some
