Project Manager - Exterior Home Improvement

Our Project Manager - Exterior Home Improvement manages renovation or construction projects from start to finish. They ensure the project is run and completed efficiently, profitably, safely, and timely. They ensure that owners get good value for their money and have a great experience.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3- to 5 years of proven experience in Project Management within the home improvement industry or a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field in lieu of experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience or education in assessing, measuring, and providing estimates within the home improvement is preferred.
  • A valid Driver’s License along with a clean driving record is required. A company vehicle will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the owner's vision for the project and measure that vision against the contract and job notes then develop a plan to complete the project within the agreed timeframe and within budget.
  • Measure the job, coordinate scheduling with the customer, coordinate obtaining any necessary permits, order any necessary materials, place purchase orders, and confirm receipt/delivery of material prior to scheduling installation, and plan for a safe work site.
  • Schedule labor (subcontractors or employees), recruit, train, retain, and manage the labor force (employees / subcontractors) needed for the department.
  • Keep the owner updated on the project's status, answer questions, and ensure all stakeholders are on the same page.
  • Manage and oversee labor, employees and subcontractors, job site safety, all necessary paperwork, and ensure project stays within budget.
  • Ensure the project is aligned with agreed-upon plans and confirm compliance with any and all local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
  • Confirm installations meet or exceed manufacturers’ recommendations, industry standard, contract requirements, customer expectations, and Weather Pro Exteriors Inc. standards.
  • Accurately update job costing / pricing information for commission chargebacks.
