Senior Project Manager - Utility-Scale Solar Full-Time | Midwest (Travel Required)

We're partnered with a well-established contractor expanding its footprint in utility‑scale renewable energy. With a strong legacy in heavy civil construction, they've built a dedicated solar division focused on delivering large‑scale PV projects across the Midwest and beyond. They’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead utility‑scale solar projects from pre‑construction through execution, overseeing field teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.

• Lead the full lifecycle of utility‑scale solar projects (typically 50MW+)
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations
• Coordinate closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Drive progress in the field while maintaining strong oversight of risks and timelines
• Support pre‑construction efforts, including planning, estimating, and strategy
• Mentor and develop junior PMs, APMs, and project engineers
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards

• 8‑12+ years of project management experience in construction
• Prior experience with utility‑scale solar projects strongly preferred
• Background in EPC, heavy civil, or large‑scale infrastructure projects
• Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar projects end‑to‑end
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar (preferred)
