Electrical Construction Project Manager / Safety Lead (Data Center Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager / Safety Lead to oversee the buildout of critical infrastructure within large-scale data center environments. This role is responsible for managing electrical construction activities, driving project execution, and ensuring world‑class safety performance across a ground‑up construction project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage electrical construction activities for data center infrastructure projects, including power distribution, cabling, and critical systems.
  • Serve as a primary onsite leader driving both project execution and safety performance across all trades.
  • Oversee General Contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and safety expectations.
  • Implement and enforce site safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
  • Identify safety risks and proactively drive corrective actions to reduce incidents and improve overall site safety performance.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure delivery aligns with timelines and quality standards.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and construction teams to resolve technical and execution challenges.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on project status, safety metrics, and operational performance.
  • Lead safety trainings, site audits, and toolbox talks to reinforce a strong safety culture.
  • Analyze safety data (TRIR, WPS, etc.) and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, contractor coordination, and field team leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management and/or construction safety leadership, preferably within electrical or mission‑critical environments.
  • Strong background in data center construction, electrical systems, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing general contractors and subcontractors onsite.
  • Deep understanding of construction safety practices and regulatory requirements.
