Job DetailsAs an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure all bids are comprehensive and aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings and project handoffs.
- Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to execution.
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
