Project Safety Manager - Data Center

About the Role

This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline.

The Project Safety Manager supports the Project Teams in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) by creating and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, generates weekly Total Case Incident Reports for large projects, leads incident and injury investigations with production leadership, provides assistance during weekly toolbox safety meetings, and monitors and audits CEI/Subcontractor compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.

You are a seasoned, OSHA 30‑certified safety professional with extensive construction safety experience. You understand electrical industry standards such as NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI, possess strong communication skills, and can influence behaviors. You thrive in a team environment and independently when required. You are excited to contribute to an organization that places safety as a priority for employees, the public, and the environment.

In this role you will support and evaluate the effectiveness of CEI’s safety programs, co‑facilitate safety trainings and tests for all employees, assist weekly safety meetings, and develop project‑specific plans to address safety issues. • Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, typing, carrying, pushing, bending in indoor office and outdoor construction jobsite settings.
• Occasional work at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred or a related field such as Construction Management, Business, or Engineering.
• Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  OSHA 30 Construction required; CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred); must be willing to obtain a BCSP/CHST certification or higher within 12 months.
• Experience:
  
  Three (3) to five (5) years of construction safety experience, with electrical safety preferred.
• Driving Record:
  Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

• Bilingual proficiency preferred.
