Assistant Project Manager; Construction

A design-build general contractor in Milwaukee is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

• Assist the Senior Project Manager and field staff in managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate project activities to meet quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and project correspondence.
• Support scheduling and procurement processes.
• Identify issues and propose solutions in a proactive manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project assistant or coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project, and the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive problem solver and strong team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations is a plus.
