A design-build general contractor in Milwaukee is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities- Assist the Senior Project Manager and field staff in managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate project activities to meet quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.
- Maintain documentation, progress reports, and project correspondence.
- Support scheduling and procurement processes.
- Identify issues and propose solutions in a proactive manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project assistant or coordinator role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project, and the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive problem solver and strong team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations is a plus.
- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 per year.
