Senior Superintendent

Our client is a well-established and highly respected builder in the Milwaukee area, known for delivering high-quality multifamily and senior living community projects and maintaining long-term relationships within the area. With a strong pipeline of local work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join their team and lead projects from the ground up through final turnover.

The Senior Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a leader with extensive multifamily, senior living, retail and hotel project experience and excellent communication skills who can effectively manage subcontractors, field staff, and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead daily on-site operations for multifamily construction projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain project schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Conduct regular site walks, quality inspections, and progress reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager, design team, and ownership group.
  • Oversee project documentation, RFIs, and change management as they relate to field operations.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors and represent the company professionally on site.

Qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of construction experience, with significant time spent on ground up projects.
  • Proven track record as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and site logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a proactive approach.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
