My client is a well-established, privately held commercial construction firm with nearly 90 years in the industry. Built on a foundation of integrated construction services — from preconstruction through self-performance and design-build — they've built a reputation for delivering complex projects across healthcare, education, municipal, and commercial markets. With veteran leadership and a deep bench of in-house technical expertise, they've built lasting relationships with clients and partners across the Midwest.

This is a unique opportunity to serve as the face of the company in the Milwaukee market, building relationships, driving growth, and shaping the office's long-term strategy. You won't just be filling a seat; you'll be the primary connector between local opportunities and a well-resourced, growing organization.

• Location:
  
  Milwaukee, WI (in-office; candidates should reside within ~35 miles of downtown Milwaukee)
• Reports to:
  
  SVP of Strategic Development and Marketing
• Serve as the primary representative of the company within the Milwaukee market, building strong relationships and expanding market presence
• Support the sourcing and feasibility of new projects, including financial analysis, pro-forma modeling, and risk assessment
• Own regional KPIs — business development backlog, key project updates, talent review, and major budgets/expenditures
• Lead and support the local team to maintain a productive, collaborative office environment
• Actively participate in project pursuits and represent the company at community events to build brand and business opportunities
• Coordinate with functional leaders to mentor regional team members and drive accountability across the office
• May carry supervisory responsibility for team members in the region, depending on functional reporting structure
• 8+ years of experience in construction and/or general contracting, including project management and cross-functional team work
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
• Must be able to speak credibly to the technical side of construction — this is a business development-driven role, but you need to be able to "talk the talk" on how a building actually comes together
