Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sewers to ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards
- Train and mentor new team members on sewing techniques, pattern making, and best practices
- Monitor production schedules to ensure that all orders are completed on time
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all products meet customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any sewing-related issues that arise
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewing, patterning, and garment construction
- Bilingual Spanish
- English strongly preferred to communicate with your team! - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and equipment
Physical Demands/Work Environment: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Individuals may need to sit or stand upwards of 7 hours per shift. Will require climbing of stairs and walking on a level surface for periodically throughout the day. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
