• Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays
• Completes charting of treatment information in the patient’s dental notes from the doctor as directed
• Assists the doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
• Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patients
• Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
• Assists administrative team with customer service functions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required
• Previous customer service or office experience
• Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

• Monday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
