Position Overview
Marquette University School of Dentistry (MUSoD) seeks qualified candidates for a full‑time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The role focuses on clinical care, resident and pre‑doctoral education, and academic service.
Includes didactic and clinical teaching, managing patient care, supervision of resident and pre‑doctoral students, participation on MUSoD’s Medical Emergency Response Team, and engagement in scholarly activities.
Qualifications- DMD/DDS degree from a U.S. or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, or an equivalent foreign degree.
- Completion of an advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, or an equivalent foreign program.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in Wisconsin, or eligibility for a faculty license in Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification.
- Clinical experience in moderate sedation.
- Previous clinical teaching experience.
- Potential for teaching excellence and high‑quality research.
Employment Status:
