Job Overview
Description Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a Project Architect to become part of our Advanced Manufacturing + Industrial studio, which may also include projects in the Aerospace & Technology markets. Candidates should be a licensed architect (or equivalent experience) with experience in workplace or interior architecture related projects.
Responsibilities- Responsible for most phases in the technical development of a project.
- Work under the direction of a project manager and independently evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria; use judgment in assignments that have clear and specified objectives with a limited number of variables.
- Write reports and specification sections; review submittals and observe architectural features in the field; assist in the coordination of consultants.
- Work hand-in-hand with the project team and assist in delegation of tasks.
- Assist project manager with identified tasks and functions.
- Lead the team in architectural techniques and procedures.
- Be highly knowledgeable in the techniques and applications of BIM.
- Be involved in a variety of project responsibilities, including documentation and detailing.
- Self-direct project work and tasks, proactive engagement.
- Help assemble energy and sustainability strategies.
- Assist with specification preparation and/or writes specifications.
- Perform and review QA/QC processes.
- Review submittals, RFIs, pay apps, etc., and be responsible for on-site construction observation.
- Support consultants and coordinate their work.
- Participate in owner and contractor conversations on a regular basis.
- Assist and lead the mentoring of staff.
- Licensed architect or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of architectural experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit (preferred).
- Use of BIM software and visualization methods is essential.
Annual base compensation for this role is $65,000 - $95,000 based on skills and experience.
