Architect Job Description We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Architect to support our Project Architect and broader design team. This role is open to architects at various stages of their careers and is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of design creativity, technical detailing, and project coordination within a fast‑paced design‑build environment. The Architect will contribute to projects from early design through construction, working closely with architects, consultants, and internal construction teams to deliver high‑quality, well‑coordinated architectural solutions that meet client goals and project requirements.
- Support the Project Architect with design development, documentation, and overall project delivery
- Participate in conceptual design, schematic layouts, design studies, and presentations
- Prepare accurate and coordinated architectural documentation across all project phases
- Assist with evaluating client needs and developing architectural solutions aligned with scope, budget, and schedule
- Research materials, building systems, and products to support informed design decisions
- Develop and document architectural details and construction assemblies
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal construction teams to ensure constructible documentation
- Review shop drawings and submittals for alignment with contract documents
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction coordination as needed
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy across deliverables
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred, not required)
- Demonstrated experience producing architectural drawings and documentation (academic or professional)
- Working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements appropriate to experience level
- Proficiency in Revit (required)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities
- Interest in learning, growing, and taking on increased responsibility over time
- Experience with AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
- Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure
- Experience in design‑build or integrated project delivery environments
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 – $120000.00/hr.
