The Architect will work on-site full time at Latitude Studio, llc in Milwaukee, WI, contributing to projects from concept through construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural designs, preparing drawings, producing construction documents, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients. The role involves participating in design meetings, conducting site visits, reviewing submittals, and assisting with code and zoning research. The Architect will help manage project schedules and deliverables, support integration of sustainable and cost-effective solutions, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure design quality and project consistency.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of past experience at a U.S. Architecture firm.
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop concepts into detailed plans and documents.
• Experience with Project Management, including coordinating stakeholders, tracking timelines, and supporting budget and scope alignment.
• Understanding of Integration between architectural systems and building technologies, ensuring cohesive and functional designs.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools). Our Studio uses AutoCAD primarily
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program; architectural licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred. Individuals with extensive industry or construction experience also encouraged to inquire.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices beyond local resources. We work in many locations in the US.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of commercial and residential construction detailing highly regarded.
