Position: Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery (Hand & Upper Extremity) - Faculty, Assistant Professor

Position Summary

The Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) – Children’s Wisconsin (CW) – seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

  • Schedule includes flexible clinical, operating room, administrative, and/or research time.
  • Mentorship and teaching will be a part of the practice with interaction with residents, students and fellows.

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

  • The Orthopedics Program at Children's Wisconsin is the largest and most comprehensive in the state. We provide excellent, innovative clinical care for children. Our team includes specialists in pediatric orthopedics, orthopedic hand and upper extremity, spine, sports medicine, concussion, chiropractic care and sport and orthopedic psychology.
  • Our pediatric orthopedic providers have advanced training and expertise to provide the most qualified orthopedic care for kids of all ages — from birth to 18.
  • We use advanced equipment:
    Our state-of-the-art equipment helps ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are one of only a few orthopedic programs in the United States that has an EOS scanner, which provides detailed, 3D images and limits radiation exposure.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
