ACADEMIC NEUROPATHOLOGIST MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (USA)
The Division of Pediatric Pathology at Children’s Wisconsin (CW), within the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), is seeking a full-time neuropathologist to join our subspecialized team in Milwaukee, WI. This position includes a full-time faculty appointment at a rank and salary commensurate with experience and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally recognized pediatric care, cutting-edge research, and innovative education in an actively growing academic medical center.
Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license and board-certified or board-eligible in neuropathology.
- Join a team of eight pediatric specialists with the unique opportunity for cross-collaboration with neuropathologists within MCW’s Department of Pathology & Froedtert Theda Care Health System.
- Experience a diverse case mix including pediatric surgical neuropathology with a share of 50+ brain cases, 70+ muscle/nerve biopsies, and 20+ autopsies. Additional opportunities in adult neuropathology and autopsy, pediatric surgical pathology, research, and leadership are available based on the skills and interests of the candidate.
- Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows.
- Collaborate with expert multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuro‑oncologists, neuro‑radiologists, and geneticists.
- Participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research with protected time to advance your work.
