Mercyhealth System in Janesville, Wisconsin is currently seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our excellent team of collaborating physicians!

Mercyhealth is a multi-regional, integrated health system comprising 7 hospitals, more than 700 employed physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 60 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub‑specialty services, including adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery and much more.

Position

Highlights
  • Seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist who can read across a broad range of modalities.
  • Fellowship training or experience in breast imaging, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal imaging is desirable, but not required.
  • Work alongside a sister practice with fellowship-trained subspecialists.
  • No overnight shifts.
  • Twelve (12) weeks of PTO with incremental increase yearly.
  • All cases are of academic quality, with a private-level salary.
  • No waiting for partnership-level income.
  • Not private equity owned.
  • Nonprofit, with eligibility for student loan repayment.
  • State‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment in a new facility. We provide over seventy‑five specialty and sub‑specialty services, including neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic, reconstructive surgery, Da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Watchman, and more.
  • The principal areas of practice will be our Trauma Center in Janesville, Wisconsin with some coverage in northern Illinois.
Current Practitioners Perform All Aspects of Vascular and Interventional Radiology Including:
  • Peripheral arterial disease: acute limb ischemia, critical limb ischemia cases
  • Percutaneous AAA treatment / EVAR
  • Interventional Oncology: biopsy, TACE, thermal ablation, renal MWA and cryoablation, liver directed‑therapy / locoregional therapy, RF ablation, and kyphoplasty of spinal tumors
  • GI: biliary drainage, Spy Glass assisted percutaneous cholangioscopy and interventions, GI bleed embolization, TIPS, BRTO, endovascular treatment of visceral aneurysms
  • Spine: kyphoplasty, bone biopsy, ablation, lumbar ESI
  • GU/GYN: nephrostomy, renal MWA and cryoablation, embolization for post‑partum hemorrhage, uterine artery embolization, pelvic congestion syndrome embolization, prostate artery embolization, gastrostomy placement, GJ placement
  • Venous: venous recanalization, thrombectomy, May Thurner, venous stenting (iliac, iliocaval, SVC), central venous recanalization, HD access maintenance, IVC filter placement and retrieval, venous access (Port, PICC)
  • Pulmonary: pulmonary embolism (thrombectomy), pulmonary AVM embolization, bronchial artery embolization / hemoptysis treatment
  • Interested candidates can be trained in stroke therapy (not required).
Qualifications
  • MD/DO board certified or board eligible
  • Residency training from an ACGME-accredited family medicine program
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
  • Skilled at providing exceptional care for all ages
