Seeking a passionate Youth Yoga Instructor to join the esteemed team at Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Capitol Heights, MD. Opportunity to impact young minds through the transformative practice of yoga. The primary goal is to create an inclusive space where children can improve their mindfulness, physical skills, and self-confidence.

Responsibilities
- Develop age-appropriate and engaging yoga lesson plans for children and teenagers.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mindfulness and physical well-being.
- Demonstrate proper yoga techniques and provide individualized feedback to students to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate special events and activities related to yoga programs.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements.
- 2+ years of experience in teaching yoga to children and teenagers.
- Certification in yoga instruction for youth.
- Strong understanding of lesson planning for youth yoga classes.
$22 - $25 hourly

LTYC has been able to impact the lives of more than 160,000 students, ranging from grades K-12. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
