We are seeking a Summer Instructor to lead summer enrichment classes. In this position, you will teach project based hands‑on classes for students ages K5-2nd grade, 3-5th grade, 6-8th grade and/or 9-12th grade. You are responsible for planning and developing classes that run 2 hours daily Monday-Friday in one‑week Discovery Camps and two‑week Sessions. These classes are based in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum.
There is noexpectation for assessment or grading in classes.
Our program runs three classes daily. Instructors teach one to three classes daily.
Pay Rate- $27-$30 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Develop daily lesson plans
- Classroom management and hands‑on activities
- Escort students to and from the programs base of operations to classrooms on campus
- Supervise students 30 minutes prior to classes at the programs base of operations
- Instructors are contracted to work their daily shift and arrive on time daily
- Prior work experience with youth or teaching
