Qualifications & Skills
* * Age:
* Must be at least
* 18 years of age*.
*
* Education:
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* * Training:
* Previous childcare teacher experience is desired, but we will
* mentor the right candidate*.
* * Credentials:
* Childcare training, classes, certificates, college credits, or degrees are highly valued.
* * Knowledge (Helpful):
* Experience and knowledge of Licensing Rules and Regulations, Young Star, Creative Curriculum, and WEMLS is helpful but not necessary.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
* * Curriculum &
Activities:
* Plan and provide a variety of engaging educational experiences, including
* art, music and movement, literature, math and science, nature, sensory, and cooking.
*
* * Documentation:
* Provide curriculum plans, individual child development profiles, and other records as needed.
* * Compliance:
* Understand and follow all Edgar Child Care Inc. Policies, Employee & Parent Handbooks, and fulfill scheduled hours.
* * Professional Growth:
* Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings, and complete all Continuing Education requirements.
