part-time basis to provide assistance to Dr. Dennis Brylow, the director
of the PUMP
-CS Project. In conjunction with Dr. Brylow, this individual
will perform project management duties relating to a grant that support
the professional development of Wisconsin high school teachers in the
area of computer science. The employee will spend the majority of
his/her time maintaining records using Microsoft Office and
communicating with project participants and vendors via telephone,
e-mail, and letters. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinating the
recruitment and application process for the teachers and schools
participating in the project.
2. Being the project s primary point of
contact for administrators, teachers, and research specialists involved
with the project.
3. Coordinating project meetings throughout the year,
including summer workshops and spring conference symposia.
4. Monitoring
and maintaining the project budget, including completing the forms
needed to procure project goods and services.
5. Perform other duties

Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
The candidate must have good
organizational, writing and spelling skills, good number sense, and the
ability to communicate effectively with others, especially teachers and
principals. The candidate for this position must be skilled using
Microsoft Office, preferably on a Macintosh computer. Minimum education
is high school graduation or equivalent. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Grant Coordination Experience Preferred. Background In
