Bilingual General Assembly Training Coordinator

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Bilingual
General Assembly Training Coordinator to join our growing team.

• Work with HR & safety team to identify and resolve issues or areas of improvement, train employees, and raise everyday safety awareness.
• Understand fundamentals of electrical technology and blueprint reading.
• Conduct training in a learning environment that blends traditional classroom instruction and advanced technology training.
• Provide classroom instruction of technical skills, including basic math, tape measure reading, basic electrical concepts, and basic blueprint reading, using books, videos, online manuals, and virtual reality training and testing.
• Assist with on‑job training by organizing procedures, coordinating trainer/trainee interaction, and tracking.
• Monitor working procedures for safety and training related issues and improvements.
• Deliver new hire safety training.

• Knowledge of safety and HR training practices.
• Experience in training, teaching, or facilitating.
• Knowledge of electrical technology and blueprint reading.
• Understanding of light fabrication work, drilling, forming, wire stripping, and crimping.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge of different hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and be self‑directed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to commute.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Preferred: previous material handling, electrical, assembly, and wire harness fabrication background.
