Job Summary

This full-time faculty position, reporting to the Dean of Faculty and under the supervision of the Program Director, is responsible for the management and evaluation of the program's academic and clinical components.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Accreditation:
    Assist the Program Director with maintaining accreditation by coordinating the efforts of the PA Program to meet and/or exceed ARC‑PA Standards.
  • Teaching:
    Instruct first‑year and second‑year students in Physical Diagnosis Labs, Clinical Correlations, Procedures, lecturing in area of expertise, advising, reviewing and grading master's projects.
  • Curriculum:
    Review academic/clinical curricular content for appropriateness to PA practice, monitor evaluation of learning outcomes, create and review academic and clinical exams.
  • Committee Service:
    Participate on appropriate committees and ARC‑PA accreditation and program evaluation activities.
  • Other:
    Other duties/leadership positions as assigned.
  • General Aspects:
    Participate in admissions process, develop mission statement and competencies, engage in scholarly activities, remedial instruction, accreditation documents, recruitment, and school‑wide committee service.

  • Good interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Compensation: $120,000–$125,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience

Required
  • Valid and Unrestricted Wisconsin Physician Assistant license.
  • Current NCCPA Board Certification.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current clinical practice.
  • Proficiency in Canvas.
  • Previous teaching experience in a Physician Assistant program or other graduate medical education program.
Education

Master's or Physician Assistant Degree.
