Coordinator Role
The project coordinator will work on a part‑time basis to provide assistance to Dr. Dennis Brylow, the director of the PUMP‑CS Project. In conjunction with Dr. Brylow, this individual will perform project management duties relating to a grant that supports the professional development of Wisconsin high school teachers in the area of computer science. The employee will spend the majority of his/her time maintaining records using Microsoft Office and communicating with project participants and vendors via telephone, e‑mail, and letters.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
Skills and Abilities
- Good organizational, writing and spelling skills.
- Good number sense and the ability to communicate effectively with others, especially teachers and principals.
- Skilled using Microsoft Office, preferably on a Macintosh computer.
- Minimum education:
high school graduation or equivalent.
Grant coordination experience preferred.
Background in research experience is helpful.
