* Job Duties:
** The Undergraduate International Admissions Coordinator is a member of the International Admissions team in the Center for International Education. This position is responsible for all support required to guide undergraduate international applicants from the application to their arrival on campus.
*
* Key Responsibilities include:
*** Reviewing applications, making admission decisions, maintaining records, and communicating with admitted students before they arrive on campus.
* Participate in recruitment activities by providing personalized customer service, developing relationships with key stakeholders, hosting visitors on campus, and contributing to the development of web-based marketing materials.
* Serve as a liaison for key partners on campus and in the community regarding international student admission issues.##

Job Responsibilities:
*** Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the institution
* Receives, evaluates, and processes student applications according to established policies and procedures
* Implements policies and procedures for the processing of international applications in alignment with the international recruitment strategic plan
* Develops international recruitment-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives
* Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
* Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
* Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
* Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on international student outreach, recruitment, and admission##
** Department:
** The Center for International Education (CIE) at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee advances UWM’s global mission by supporting international students and scholars, facilitating study abroad opportunities, and building international partnerships. CIE serves as a central hub for international admissions, immigration and visa advising, global learning experiences, and cross‐cultural engagement, helping students, faculty, and staff develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.##
** Compensation:**$49,900 - $53,000/annually. Salary will be determined by finalist's experience, training, education, and equity-based factors.##

* Required Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s Degree
* Experience working in an academic environment and/or university admissions process
* Computer skills using PC platforms and databases##
*
* Preferred Qualifications:
*** Experience with university databases
* Experience communicating with people whose native language is not English or are from other cultural backgrounds
* Experience with foreign credential evaluation
* Experience with university admissions
* Strong ability to create written communication that is informative and clear (as demonstrated in cover letter and resume)
* Experience using and/or developing in Slate
*** Additional Information:**
