* Job Duties:
** This position serves the main customer service and administrative needs for a new program of the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System (WCWPDS) PDS provides professional development to child welfare staff in Milwaukee; foster, adoptive and congregate care staff statewide; and home visitors statewide. Beginning in 2026, WCWPDS will also oversee a significant portion of training and development for childcare and early education professionals statewide.
This position performs a range of administrative duties associated with planning, preparing, documenting and communicating program professional development offerings, conferences, and related meetings, predominately related to childcare and early education professionals. This is a full time university staff position.##
** Key
Job Responsibilities:
*** Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision
* Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums
* Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities
* Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
* Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations

** Compensation:** $21 - $22 Hourly

* Required Qualifications:
*** At least 1 year experience with office operations
* At least 2 years of experience using events planning, registration or similar software (LMS platform experience a plus).
* At least 2 years experience providing customer service in fast paced environment
*
* Preferred Qualifications:
*** Experience using and/or administering a Cornerstone OnDemand LMS system or equivalent LMS system
* Experience communicating with a variety of professionals orally and in writing
*
