Overview
The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences is hiring an adjunct instructor to teach part‑time in the Anthropology major. The position will begin in August 2026 and will include teaching ANTH 2401 (Archaeology) and/or ANTH 1001 (Being Human).
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver course content; prepare syllabus, assignments, exams.
- Grading of exams, papers, and other assignments.
- Maintain at least three office hours per week.
- Contribute to undergraduate coursework in the Anthropology major.
- Master’s degree in Anthropology or related field (preferably substantial progress toward terminal degree).
- Five years of teaching experience or other suitable professional experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
