Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our small private school community. This position offers a highly desirable schedule, allowing a strong work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom. The ideal candidates will foster a love of reading, writing, and math concepts, creating engaging and supportive learning experiences while building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities & Curriculum- Teach general studies subjects using the school’s curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
- Implement specialized literacy programs (training will be provided for FUNDATIONS for reading and Releasing Writers for writing).
- Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that maximizes our small class sizes for individualized student growth.
- Collaborate closely with grade‑level partners, administration, and parents.

Hours:
Typically 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM - Fridays: Early dismissal most Fridays!

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Required).
- Experience: 1 year of teaching experience preferred, with a strong preference for experience in the primary grades for our elementary roles.
