Overview

Notre Dame School of Milwaukee (NDSM) is a Catholic school founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Milwaukee, WI. The school was founded in 1996 as Notre Dame Middle School, an all‑girls 5th‑8th grade middle school to serve Latinas on the southside of Milwaukee. Today NDSM is a Grade K3‑8 Catholic school sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

It has a co‑education primary school serving boys and girls in a Spanish and English dual‑language model. NDSM addresses the urgent, critical needs of the community through student‑focused education. We currently serve over 690 students across three campuses and have an all‑boys and all‑girls middle school, a co‑ed primary school, and an Early Childhood Education program.

• Maintains grades and prepares grade reports
• Records daily attendance of students
• Completes all required forms and reports

• Attends all faculty and in‑service meetings, and other meetings as needed

• Actively engages in professional development
• Participates and meets the requirements of Sustaining the Mission and maintains the appropriate level of certification
• Meets professional teacher education requirements of the school district and state
• Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
• Must have knowledge and experience with cultural sensitivity and awareness
• Ability to be flexible, resilient, and adaptable to changing priorities, with a willingness to put students first at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned
