Part‑time positions teaching one or more course sections in any of the following areas: advertising, communication studies, corporate communication, sports communication, digital media, journalism, public relations, media studies, dance, film, music, performing arts, and/or theatre arts.

• Prepare and follow syllabus and teaching plans.
• Instruct, manage, and supervise individuals and groups in a professional manner.
• Prepare and administer quizzes and exams.
• Evaluate and grade student work.
• Maintain a minimum of three office hours per course per week.
• Be prepared to convert class to online if necessary.
• Develop and prepare syllabi, lectures, presentations, and handouts for teaching courses.
• Stimulate and encourage class discussions.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Be available/responsive to students.
• Remain current with trends and development in your area of expertise.

Masters degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Undergraduate degree in communication or related field and experience teaching at the college level.
