Professional Learning Specialist, IM Math

Professional Learning Specialist is an experienced and successful professional educator who provides content specific support, training, and guidance in the implementation of Imagine Learning’s core, blended, and online learning programs. They support improvements in teaching and learning by collaborating with district leaders, school administration, and teachers to plan, implement, and sustain the successful adoption of our solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.

Position Information:
This is a regular, full‑time position reporting to the Professional Learning Solutions Director.

Compensation:
Base pay is anticipated to be between $65,972 and $85,000 per year. Employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, training, education, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location:

In this Milwaukee, WI based position you will work onsite four days a week at Milwaukee Public Schools sites and will work remotely one day a week.

Travel:
Frequent travel to various school district sites is expected. A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record for at least the past 39 months are required.

Envision Your Experience
  • Deliver fee-based, engaging, small and large group presentations, both in‑person and virtually, centered on district/school teaching and learning recommendations while modeling instructional best practices.
  • Act as an embedded strategic professional learning partner with assigned school district.
  • Develop professional learning plans and implement strategies to support clients throughout their journey, from initial interest to renewal.
  • Prepare presentations, including account set‑up verification, confirming session learning outcomes and expectations for teachers and administrators, personalization of delivery materials, and confirmation of travel.
  • Submit training requests, update and maintain customer records with session summaries and recommendations for next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Customer Service and Sales. Respond to internal and external customer communication as part of a matrixed service team.
  • Engage in a solutions‑focused Professional Learning Community where the Professional Learning Specialist will be both a learner and a leader, sharing best practices and information, and learning new skills and approaches to deliver professional learning with impact.
  • May co‑teach, model lessons, attend principal and coach meetings, facilitate professional learning communities, attend district meetings, and participate in goal setting.
  • May manage multiple districts and additional projects simultaneously while focusing on the forecasted delivery of services reflecting seasonal deviations of activity.
  • Maintain the ability and availability to work flexible hours and travel to district sites four days a week; driving and maintaining a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License in state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.

Share Your Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field, and at least five years’ experience with blended and/or online learning; a Master’s degree is preferred.
