The Director of Teaching and Learning at Aug Prep is a mission-driven instructional leader focusing on ensuring every student experiences rigorous, joyful, and Christ-centered classrooms daily. The role leads either K4–5 or 6–12, strengthens teaching and learning through curriculum implementation, coaching, and data-driven methods to improve outcomes. You will partner with school-level principals and instructional leaders to translate vision into classroom practice, ensuring consistency, alignment, and impact across campuses.

Team and Strategic Leadership
- Serve as an academic leader for either grades K4-5 or 6-12, aligning to Aug Prep’s instructional vision and priorities.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Teaching and Learning to ensure coherence and quality across the full K4-12 model.
- Collaborate with principals and leaders across campuses to strengthen implementation without direct supervisory responsibility.
- Support the execution of system-wide academic priorities with clarity and consistency.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with principals, instructional leaders, teachers, and staff.
- Model a mission-driven, team-first mindset and willingness to serve.
Curriculum Strategy and Implementation
- Lead evaluation and selection of high-quality instructional materials for your grade band and ensure ongoing alignment and impact.
- Oversee curriculum implementation with coherence across campuses and grade bands.
- Collaborate with leaders to support strong implementation, monitor fidelity, and address challenges.
- Design and deliver standards-aligned professional learning aligned with Christ-centered, rigorous classrooms.
Coaching and Instructional Excellence
- Establish a culture of trust, reflective practice, and actionable feedback to drive improvement.
