Welding Teacher - Milwaukee Youth Facility

Position Summary

This position will develop and implement a program of educational services specific to the assessed Career and Technical Education (CTE) needs of the male and/or female juvenile offender population. The teacher will provide individual and group instruction, evaluate student progress, and prescribe necessary remediation and/or academic support services. The teacher will also complete all required documentation related to student assessment and reports, evaluate academic records promptly, monitor and manage student behavior, and attend relevant institutional staffings and meetings.

This position is in pay schedule and range 13-04 with a starting rate of $30.00/hour - $35.06/hour. In addition to the base rate, the position may receive supplemental pay, up to $2.97/hr, for additional credits beyond those required for certification. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire.

A probationary period is required.

Our teachers work twelve months out of the year.
