Job Profile:
The Outreach Program Manager is an integral member of CCEP, responsible for developing and implementing academic pathways and partnerships between the college and external entities such as school districts, technical colleges, and community-based organizations. The position collaborates closely with academic program leadership, admissions, advising, and college administration to support student recruitment, workforce responsiveness, and community engagement efforts.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and expand partnerships with community organizations, school districts, technical colleges, and workforce agencies.
  • Expand pathway opportunities for prospective students, including adult learners, paraprofessionals, licensed educators, and transfer students.
  • Explore development of teacher education residency programs.
  • Support development of workforce-responsive partnerships aligned with regional and state needs.
  • Expand and manage dual enrollment course opportunities with high school partners.
  • Represent and promote CCEP and UWM at recruitment events, community meetings, and outreach activities, often in collaboration with campus entities.
  • Promote UWM academic programs that provide career and professional development opportunities for school employees and community partners.
  • Collaborate with admissions, advising, and academic leadership to support recruitment initiatives and enrollment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the School of Continuing Education to promote and administer opportunities for school employees and community partners.
  • Create and sustain academic program‑level advisory boards that include faculty, student, alumni, and employer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and provide input on the design, development, and implementation of new outreach programs or services.
  • Track outreach activities and partnership outcomes to support continuous improvement and assessment efforts.
  • Support implementation of grant‑funded workforce and enrollment initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying emerging workforce and community needs that may inform future program development.
  • Collaborate with college leadership on strategic outreach and enrollment growth efforts across CCEP.
Compensation

Minimum salary: $70,000 per year. Actual hiring salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience related to the position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related academic discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in outreach, recruitment, workforce development, or community engagement.
  • Experience building relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in academic leadership, administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working in PK‑12 and/or university settings.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building relationships between schools, universities, and community partners.
  • Experience working in or collaborating with urban-serving school districts and community partners.
  • Knowledge of educator preparation pathways and licensure processes.
